The Day I Changed the world

I changed the world, and I’m proud of it. You’ll probably wonder how a six-year-old could stop a war. Yes, that’s correct, I said WAR!

My name is Jasmine, and I guess it’s the best to start off when I heard the news that Jane Finkey has declared war- to our country, the United states.

So you could probably guess why I freaked out! I mean, Ukraine is having a war right now too, but I never even thought of OUR country being attacked like that! I mean, c’mon!

She declared war? Well, now I’m going to end it! I thought firmly, my fingernails digging into my hands. I knew it was a crazy idea, like a six year old ending a heartless murderer.

However, I had plans of my own. When my parents were asleep on Tuesday, I googled ‘Jane Finkey’ to know whatever I had to know about her. Then, I carefully opened the window and jumped down from it. It wasn’t high at all, which was a good thing, because if it was high, I’d had probably been in the ambulance by now.

So anyways, I ran and ran until I reached Salt Lake City, where Jane was attacking first. Boy, that woman looked tough! It was a brutal sight, but thanks to my awesome gymnastic skills and karati, I managed to wave my way to the woman with blonde hair.

“Who are you?!” Jane shrieked, pointing her gun at me menacingly when I tapped her on the shoulder. Her blonde tresses were in a ponytail, and she was wearing an armour which seemed to be made out of… plastic.

“Listen, Finkey!” I shouted angrily, “If you don’t end this war right this INSTANT, I will-” OH MY GOODNESS! That’s when I almost fainted! Jane had almost shot me with her gun! However, I realised right then that Jane had terrible aiming skills!

I looked at all the bullets she used to try to shoot me. That’s when I finally regained my voice. I had an idea to test her knowledge.

“Finkey!” I boomed in a queenly voice, “I am the princess of… um… Zoopizoola! And I forbid you to conquer America, or I would have you… executed… in my private chambers! DO YOU UNDERSTAND?”

Jane Finkey’s eyes grew wide as saucers as she nodded shakily. She yelled, “RETREAT!” and vanished into thin air. Finkey’s mind wasn’t as sharp as a knife after all.

When my parents found out, they were so proud of me they let me not go to school for five days! Lucky girl, aren’t I?

However, this didn’t mean Jane was gone forever. She was somewhere around the world, waiting for a chance to strike again! However, she isn’t going down without a fight. Jane, BEWARE! The day I see your brutal gun and soldiers again, you’ll suffer a great punishment from me! But, until then, I’ll just act like a girl, acting goofy. So that’s the story of how I saved America!
